"We Are The Sermon" project is a way for us as a congregation to practice what we preach and be servants to those in our community.
We are partnering with the Ronald McDonald House to build care kits for families in need. The Ronald McDonald House partners with children’s hospitals to help out families with housing, food, and supplies during treatments. For more information on them, here is their website: Ronald McDonald House KC.
On June 7th, we will meet at our normal time for class. Then at 10:45am we will have a worship/singing service and partake of communion. We will then dismiss to work on building the care kits. We will be assembling two types of kits; child activity kits and newborn care kits.
As we assemble care kits for families at the Ronald McDonald House, we’re reminded that sharing Christ’s love is often found in simple acts of kindness, compassion, and service. May these small gifts bring comfort, hope, and a reminder that they are seen, loved, and prayed for during difficult times.
